|Ali Khodabandeh, MD|
Dr. Khodabandeh received his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Picardie Jules Verne in France. He moved to the United States and completed a one and half year post-doctoral clinical research fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Tufts Medical Center under the tutelage of Dr. Nicholas Hill. He completed a second residency in Internal Medicine at Steward Carney Hospital and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, an affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease and board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
He lives in Somerville with his wife, Julia and their daughter, Sophia. Dr. Khodabandeh is fluent in French. His areas of interest include COPD, asthma, Interventional Pulmonology, Thoracic Oncology, sleep disorders and Critical Care Medicine.
